The Living Prayer
A New Moon Experience of Sacred Art, Mantra & Sound
with Shey Khandro & Sonya Belisle
Sunday, June 14, 2026
6:00 PM - 7:15 PM
$44 per person
For one special New Moon evening, the Cathedral at Sedonya will be transformed into a living sanctuary of sacred art, sound, prayer, and presence.
Surrounded by Shey Khandro's extraordinary collection of sacred pointillist paintings, participants will enter an immersive experience where image, vibration, and intention merge into a single field of awareness.
For more than three decades, Shey has devoted herself to a unique artistic practice she calls Dottism — the creation of sacred imagery through the placement of hundreds of thousands of individual dots.
Each dot is applied by hand as an act of presence, compassion, prayer, and loving-kindness. The result is artwork that is not merely viewed, but felt. Throughout the evening, Shey will share the deeper essence behind this remarkable body of work — revealing how sacred image can become a living transmission of compassion, beauty, and awakened awareness.
As the Cathedral fills with the resonant sounds of crystal bowls, gong, voice, and healing instruments guided by Sonya Belisle, participants will be invited into an experience where the artwork, sacred mantras selected by Shey, and the vibrations of sound begin to interact in profound and unexpected ways.
The paintings become more than paintings. The sound becomes more than sound. Together they create an environment that gently draws us beyond ordinary perception and into a deeper experience of stillness, wonder, connection, and presence.
Held under the quiet potential of the New Moon, this unique collaboration offers an opportunity to slow down, open the heart, and enter a space where beauty itself becomes a pathway to transformation.
An evening of sacred art. An evening of sacred sound. An evening of living prayer.
