Building on the work of Luna Leopold (son of famed conservationist Aldo Leopold), the river guru Dave Rosgen, and influenced by indigenous practices of tribes in NM and AZ, “water lizard” Bill Zeedyk coaxes straightened streams back on their natural meandering course, lifts the creek, raises the water table and recreates lost habitats.
THURSDAY MAY 21

11:30am - ISABEL FRIEND -Liquid Light: Water as the Prism of Biological En-LIGHT-enment - What if the water in your glass is actually liquid light? Beyond the simple chemistry of H2O lies a profound, hidden symphony: the dance of Aqua-Photomics. In this groundbreaking keynote, we dive into the radical theory that light and water are not separate elements, but two manifestations of the same multidimensional object. Discover how water serves as the ultimate biological translator, encoding celestial information into the very fabric of your cells. We will explore how the quality of your water dictates the quality of light your body can carry, revealing why water is the missing link between the sun above and the life within. This is a journey into the architecture of existence that will forever change how you see (and feel) every drop you drink.
BREAK - Time to connect with water tribe, have your books signed, and we recommend bringing your water for frequency testing at our special waters table
2:00pm - ROBERT GOURLAY: The Currency of Life
Our special guest, Robert Gourlay, will be joining us through live-stream from Australia. Robert is sharing his insights through decades of research and intimate work with water as the creator of MEA Water Devices and the founder of Phi’on. Themes include negative and positive charge energy, what our body needs to operate at our fullest potential, and deep dives into living structured water. Q & A afterwards.
4:00pm - ZACH WEISS - Changing Our Relationship with Water Changes the World - Decolonizing Water for Peace and Prosperity
Water is not just life, it is also the mother of peace - not just a lack of conflict but peace of mind, health and prosperity. Through colonization humanity has desertified 1/3 of Earth's land - due to an abusive relationship with water. By decolonizing ourselves we can change our relationship with water - naturally leading us towards the actions that heal landscapes.

Sedona Water Festival
May 20 - 22, 2026
There is something ancient within us that remembers water as sacred.
Not just as a resource, but as life itself.
As intelligence. As medicine. As memory. As the invisible thread connecting our bodies, our emotions, our communities, and the living Earth.
This May, we invite you to join us for a profound three-day gathering devoted to restoring our relationship with water — both within us and around us.
The Water Festival is more than a series of talks or workshops. This will be an immersive exploration into the science, spirituality, ecology, healing, and consciousness of water through film, ceremony, music, storytelling, embodiment, and visionary conversation.
Across three unforgettable days, you will experience internationally respected water researchers, restoration pioneers, filmmakers, musicians, indigenous wisdom keepers, and transformational educators sharing perspectives that have the power to radically reshape the way we see life itself.
Together we will explore:
• Water as consciousness and living intelligence
• Regenerating rivers, landscapes, and ecosystems
• Structured and living water
• Indigenous water wisdom and ceremony
• The relationship between water, health, vitality, and light
• Climate restoration through water stewardship
• Music, sound, frequency, and healing
• Deepening our personal relationship with the flow of life
Featured presenters include Isabel Friend, Zach Weiss, David Avocado Wolfe, Robert Gourlay, Peter May, Maya Shaw Gale, Emilia Rauckyte, Eve Crowe, and more.
The festival opens with a special screening of the acclaimed documentary “Thinking Like Water” at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre, followed by two immersive days at Sedonya filled with keynote talks, workshops, ceremony, live music, sonic journeys, rain dance, community connection, and transformative experiences.
Whether you are passionate about regeneration, spirituality, ecology, consciousness, healing, or simply feel called to reconnect with something deeper, this gathering offers a rare opportunity to come together with a community devoted to honoring and restoring one of the most essential forces of life.
Come listen.
Come learn.
Come remember.
