ABOUT UQUALLA
Jeva, a member of the Havasupai Tribe from the Grand Canyon, is deeply rooted in his ancestral wisdom and traditions. Born into a family with a Medicine Man grandfather, Arthur Kaska, Jeva was imbued with the knowledge of traditional ways, including hunting, deer tanning, gourd making, singing, and dancing, passed down from his mother. He is a skilled practitioner of Coyote Telling, an ancient art performed in tribal settings, and excels in Ceremonial Theater.
Recognized as a ceremonial leader, spiritual advisor, and a figure of diverse titles like medicine man, sage, storyteller, wisdom keeper, and priest, Jeva plays a vital role in his community. He officiates important life events such as unions, births, blessings, and healings, using tools like eagle feathers, bones, medicine plants, drums, and gourds.
Jeva's journey has led him to meet spiritual leaders from various cultures, and his teachings have reached audiences in Japan, Europe, South America, and the United States. He invites others to join him in a life enriched by experience and companionship, embodying the spirit of "Hongio" - It is Good!
